Current Work
Having transitioned away from freelance photography in 2019, I have started using film as my main creative medium. Even though I’ve been practicing photography as a hobby, I have continued to hone my skills.
Shooting with film has taught me more than I could have imagined about how to use light, speed, physical body placement and color to create images. My current work ranges from portraiture, street, casual branding, to candid event portraits. Across the styles, a thread of memory and remembrance can be drawn between the images.
There’s nothing inherently better about film, but it’s been a wonderful teacher in patience, perseverance, and process.
